Barnaby On Fire

Is Barnaby going to the Lower House … via Tony Windsor’s seat?

The msm love to think so:

Queensland Nationals senator Barnaby Joyce has given another hint he’s contemplating running for the federal seat of New England in NSW, currently held by independent MP Tony Windsor.

Senator Joyce on Tuesday described Mr Windsor as “the most able lieutenant of the Labor Party”.

New England was a conservative seat and its voters expected a conservative representative, Senator Joyce said.

“At times they believed that Mr Windsor was going to be more conservative than the conservatives, (but) where he ended up was more left than the left,” the opposition’s regional development spokesman told reporters in Canberra.

“That’s something that’s just not going to fly in New England.

“It’s the same as if someone in the Port of Melbourne decided they were in the National Party – it’d be a very brief experience.”

When asked if he was still considering running for Mr Windsor’s seat at the next election Senator Joyce replied: “I’m not thinking about running in the Port of Melbourne.”

Read into that what you will … the msm certainly are.

For mine, yet another hilarious Joyceism is the real highlight of this story:

The outspoken Queenslander also weighed into the debate over the Labor leadership on Tuesday, saying the government didn’t seem to have its mind on the game.

“Who they stick out the front as their figurehead is really irrelevant. It’s the mangled carving on the front of a sinking boat. Who cares?”

Here’s Barnaby on 2GB radio telling it like it is. As usual.

Unmissable.

What I particularly like is how the media portray Senator Joyce as this crazy doolally nutball. Despite the fact that even the most casual comparison of his predictions versus theirs shows that if anyone needs the anti-psychotic pills its the lapdog lying bastards and trullions of the press.

Barnaby is right, not just for Australia, but for every place where propaganda artists took control of public policy, tricked politicians and ignored the rights and wishes of citizens – as Eisenhower warned might happen in his 1961 farewell address (See video below).

These are extremely dangerous times !

The public is justifiably mad. They were tricked; deceived !

a.) World leaders accepted false AGW claims as “settled science.”

b.) The public recognized AGW claims as absolute bunkum, rot, BS!

Now world governments are frozen, with leaders of the scientific community hiding behind powerful political forces that previously gave them public funds to mold observations into government propaganda, packaged as “settled science.”

E.g., “Obama yields on smog rule in face of GOP demands” (9/2/11)
    http://www.physorg.com/news/2011-09-obama-air-quality-standards.html

Candor is the only solution now. Leaders of the scientific community must openly address, and leaders of the news media must openly report, their response to decades of experimental observations that were hidden, avoided or manipulated for the past four decades [1], from 1971 until 2011.

The data show, and the public deserves to know, the nature of the forces that actually control the Sun, Earth’s climate, and their very lives.

Leaders of news media and the scientific community cannot escape reality, no matter how powerful the combined forces of their former allies.

The voice of pure Sanity! How refreshing for the soul.

Whether he runs against Windsock or not ,Windsock ,or Windbag, isn’t fit to lick his boots.

Anyway I read the family farm had been sold for millions and leased back and that parliamentary pensions are in the offing

Why would the Windsock run at all?

Exactly what I reckon Jazza … I’d be quite surprised if he actually runs again. Looks very much to me like he’s making hay while the sun shines … @*^*%!

Could it soon be time to re-think parliamentary pensions.???

How about letting the constituents of the retiring MP vote on a satisfactory remuneration for “a job well done”.

If they’ve done a sterling job, reward them handsomely.

    If not, well…….let them starve…..

I would like to see Barnaby Joyce seek preselection just up the road in Groom. Groom needs sanity as much as anywhere.

As for Tony Windsor, I do wonder why nobody has yet suggested that he should replace Julia Gillard as leader of the ALP. He would make a far better prime minister.
