This is a little off course for this blog but I think all you readers and the dedicated Blogger, Mr Blissful may find this interesting.
Perhaps some of the more connected watchers may care to dig a little deeper concerning Harry Jenkins’ resignation as Speaker of the House today?
The scuttlebutt I’m hearing is that the worm known as Craig Thompson(The Dis-Honourable Member for Dobell) is going to be subjected to various criminal charges within the near future and as such will be required to step down from his parliamentary duties and resign from the ALP.
Now as we are all aware, this government is hanging on by a tenuous thread and that today’s surprise events are indicative of how willing the ALP and it’s Front Bench are to be complicit in inappropriate and almost illegal behaviour. That today’s events are unconstitutional is definitely without question but one must wonder exactly what else is in the pipelines for Labor to resort to such a disgraceful display of self preservation…
Thanks Blinking … yes, it’s very interesting, and very suspect.
