Come Out Of Her, My People

25 Apr

Just stop participating.

Walk away:

Dear Reader,

Thank you to all who have read, commented on, and in particular, shared content from this blog over the past 2-and-some years. I have decided to take an indefinite hiatus from the daily toil associated with identifying and writing content for this blog, to refocus my energies towards higher priorities. These include the pursuit of a long sidelined desire – to write a book.

I have paid for continued hosting of this site’s content for 12 months, so if any readers would be interested to be made aware of future writings or projects, please Follow this blog if you have a WordPress account, or, submit your email address in Comments to the About page (to avoid spam, use format “[name] AT [url] DOT [ ]”). Rest assured that your email address will never be shared, and would only be used to advise of future writing projects that may be of some interest to you.

Regular readers know that a consistent theme of this site has been debunking the government claims, and legislation – and exposing the motives and connections of the prime movers and key beneficiaries – pursuant to so-called “action on climate change” in Australia. And while a minor contributing factor in my decision to cease contributing to this blog is my view that most, if not all, of the content that I have presented in the past regarding debt, economic (mis)management, and government deceit regarding same, can easily be found by the diligent researcher elsewhere, to the best of my knowledge no other commentator or blogger has identified, much less focussed attention on, the Ticking Time Bomb Hidden In the Carbon Tax. For that reason, I see this article (along with the many closely-related articles, and in particular the epic research project The “500 Biggest Polluters” Exposed – Everything The Government Is Not Telling You) as being my only truly unique contribution to public awareness concerning government propaganda/policy, and its consequences.

Gratifyingly, Ticking Time Bomb Hidden In the Carbon Tax is the most shared blog that I have written. I see it as, arguably, the most significant blog I have written.

Regular readers will also be familiar with my personal view that the most important, and arguably the only way to truly transform human society for the better – from a material, rather than the infinitely more crucial spiritual and moral perspectives, I would hasten to add – is by transformation of the “currency” system. By making “money” a true servant of mankind, rather than our master. In that regard, I am perhaps most contented of all with my July 7, 2011 essay outlining how I believe that can (and why it must) be done –

The People’s NWO: Every Man His Own Central Banker

There are 814 posts here, and over 193,000 views of those posts to date (ANZAC Day April 25, 2012).

The most active day was February 25th 2012, with 5,677 views – 3,961 of which were of this post, which actually saddens me. Contemplative readers will understand why. Unsurprisingly therefore, the most active month was February 2012, with 24,599 views.

Once again, thank you most sincerely to all who have read, commented, and shared. Without your support, I doubt that I would have persisted for so long 😉

Hey, BI, Have much enjoyed your blog over the past 6 months, and sorry to see you go into hiatus. Good luck with your future endeavors.

only just found this site 2 weeks agoand recommeneded it to my extended family – i am saddened that you are leaving to do better things – i live in toowoomba and you really are my only outlet or rather (inlet?) – and place to get news relating to australia…..all the others are US – – – once again really sorry to see you go like this :’-(((

    • The Blissful Ignoramus April 26, 2012 at 9:54 am #

I am sorry to hear that Greg. Not an easy decision to make, knowing that there could be some folks out there who do really value the content.

I do plan to stay active with the Twitter feed – it’s much less time consuming to tweet and retweet links to relevant news and commentary. Perhaps if you have a Twitter account, you might wish to Follow @barnabyisright and check the timeline occasionally?

As in the days of Noah, nobody seemed to notice, nobody seemed to care.

There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. 6 And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. 7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:

Never lose heart – your gift has given insight not obtainable elsewhere.

Very much enjoyed your blog over the past year. Good luck with the book. Perhaps an advisor role with Barnaby Joyce is also within the pipeline?

    • The Blissful Ignoramus April 26, 2012 at 4:50 pm #

Thanks Richo … if only BJ would heed my advice/viewpoints LOL.

    Hey Blissful,

Sorry to hear you’re moving on, but nothing good lasts forever… I am and have been constantly amazed at your deep insights into things “financial”, geo-political, and human..

Your ability to extract the hidden facts from thousands of pages of legalese, and explain it to people not as “up to speed” (like Moi) has been much appreciated.

I consider myself a better person, (as well as infinitely better informed) from having stumbled upon your blog a year or so ago.

Any time you’re in Sydney, I’d consider it a privilege to shout you a beer or many..

Thanks for the MASSIVE effort over the last couple of years.

PS How do we get a copy of the book and can you give us a hint of the topic?? Although I can probably guess….

  10. Blinking Red Light April 26, 2012 at 7:54 pm #

TS summed up my thoughts exactly.

Myself and others will miss your musings, and perhaps the rest of the blogosphere might be left a little lacking with you taking this hiatus.

Thanks for opening my eyes along with a lot of my peers, peers who I might add, scoffed and snickered at my claims of government ineptitude and corruption. You definitely shone the light of truth in a few of their eyes, of this I can guarantee.

I hope that these pages will be archived, I have plans of compiling an archive just in case.

There is always a pint for you waiting at the bar at the Morisset Country Club mate….

    • The Blissful Ignoramus April 26, 2012 at 10:39 pm #

      Hi BRL,

Thanks, you are too kind. Re archiving, I’m looking to set aside some time to properly archive the posts here, by topic/chronology, and keep the hosting paid up ongoing. Plenty of work gone into some of these, so don’t plan to let them disappear – after all, I may even be able to point to one or two of them in future and display a lack of humility by saying, “Look … I was right”. 😉

  11. kelly liddle April 27, 2012 at 4:53 am #

Good luck with your book and hoping you can still do a monthly post or something. The more ideas are shared the better even if people do not agree, so much appreciated for running it up to now.

    • The Blissful Ignoramus April 27, 2012 at 7:17 am #

Not a bad idea, Kelly. Will give some thought to that suggestion – some kind of “Around The Traps” update, perhaps.

  12. Westy April 27, 2012 at 11:24 am #

Thank you for your efforts and I will miss this place. Australia needs you and a monthly post would be much appreciated. Sad this, my first post, is to say good luck.

Thank you so much for all your work. The content and insight of your postings has been truly, remarkable.

    Best Wishes,

Sorry to see this. Really. Going to miss your insightful, thought provoking articles that i have shared constantly on fbook, mainly because they are the most mentally challenged people in a social network.

But i am afraid it is necessary for you as the constant struggle seems never ending and unfortunately, fatigue can wear us all down. Best of luck, not that you need it, on your book and other endeavours.

    Warmest regards,

I’ve been away for a while dear friend. For me, I am sorry that you are hanging up your boots. For you, you’ve earned a break. You’ve fought the big fight. I feel pround, firstly that I found your blog and secondly that I may have contributed to it in some small way. I will miss your blog and I look forward to one day looking at your predictions many years down the track. I hope to read your book, may it be a best seller!

    • The Blissful Ignoramus May 4, 2012 at 8:21 am #

Not hanging up the boots Fred. Just redirecting focus 😉

Thank you so much for your kind comments … most encouraging and rewarding for me.

I found this gem and felt compelled to share it.

Minority! if a man stands up for the right, though the right be on the scaffold, while the wrong sits in the seat of government; if he stands for right, though he eat, with right and truth, a wretched crust; if he walk with obloquy and scorn in the by-lanes and streets, while the falsehood and wrong ruffle it in silken attire, let him remember that whatever the right and truth are there are always
    “Troops of beautiful tall angels”
gathered round him, and God Himself stands within the dim future, and keeps watch over his own! If a man stands for the right and the truth, though every man’s finger be pointed at him, though every woman’s lip be curled at him in scorn, he stands in a majority; for God and good angels are with him, and greater are they that are for him than all they that be against him.

New York in English gematria = 666. On reading Jeremiah today I read this – Jer 51:42, “The sea has come up over babylon. She is covered with the multitude of its waves.” And then I remembered this –

    Food for thought?

    • The Blissful Ignoramus May 17, 2012 at 5:02 pm #

Thanks Kevin … that is very interesting.

      • Kevin Moore May 18, 2012 at 8:04 am #

A couple of insights that may help understand Jer. 50 and 51.
In my opinion – Jer 50:29 “Call the archers together against Babylon” can be cross referenced to Genesis 21:20. Archers = Ishmaelites = Arabs. Arab translated means ambush – to lurk – to lie in wait.. In Jer 51:34 “He has swallowed us like a jackal..” Strongs 8577 indicates that it is not a jackal but a large snake, which reminds me of the symbolic snake in the protocols.

So nice to come across a gent who has grasped the importance of using a Strong’s Concordance, as a vital aid to understanding original meaning of scripture 😉

    Wars Without End

America glorifies wars in the name of peace, what historian Charles Beard (1874 – 1948) called “perpetual war for perpetual peace” in describing the Roosevelt and Truman administrations’ foreign policies – what concerned the Federation of American Scientists when it catalogued about 200 post-1945 conflicts in which America was, and still is, the aggressor.

Historian Gore Vidal used Beard’s phrase in titling his 2002 book, “Perpetual War for Perpetual Peace” and saying:

“our rulers for more than half a century have made sure that we are never to be told the truth about anything that our government has done to other people, not to mention our own.”

In his 2002 book “Dreaming War,” he compared GW Bush’s imperial ambitions to WW II and the 1947 Truman Doctrine’s pledge:

“To support free peoples who are resisting attempted subjugation by armed minorities or by outside pressures.”

It was to keep Greece and Turkey from going communist, but it applied globally and initiated America’s National Security State strategy that included:

    — NATO in 1949 for offense, not defense;

Australian law passed by Parliament is not Common Law,it is Statute Law. Statute Law is Admiralty Law or “The Law of the Sea”.

As can be seen by the ACTS INTERPRETATION ACT the whole of the Australian territorial land mass is deemed to be covered by sea, so therefore it can be seen that the whole of the Australian land and coastal territories come under the provise of the “Law of the Sea Treaty” to which Australia became a signatory in 1994. See –

Application of Acts in coastal sea
    Coastal sea of Australia

    (1) An Act is taken to have effect in, and in relation to, the coastal sea of Australia as if that coastal sea were part of Australia.

    (2) A reference in an Act to Australia, or to the Commonwealth, is taken to include a reference to the coastal sea of Australia.

    Coastal sea of external Territory

    (3) An Act that is in force in an external Territory is taken to have effect in, and in relation to, the coastal sea of the Territory as if that coastal sea were part of the Territory.

(3A) A reference in an Act to all or any of the external Territories (whether or not one or more particular Territories are referred to) is taken to include a reference to the coastal sea of any Territory to which the reference relates.

    (4) In this section, coastal sea :

    (a) in relation to Australia, means:

    (i) the territorial sea of Australia; and

    (ii) the sea on the landward side of the territorial sea of Australia and not within the limits of a State or internal Territory;

and includes the airspace over, and the sea-bed and subsoil beneath, any such sea; and

    (b) in relation to an external Territory, means:

    (i) the territorial sea adjacent to the Territory; and

    (ii) the sea on the landward side of the territorial sea adjacent to the Territory and not within the limits of the Territory;

and includes the airspace over, and the sea-bed and subsoil beneath, any such sea.
No wonder then that a celebration is being held in Rio –

“Sat 16 June – THEME: Oceans Day
10:00-11:00 Renewing our political commitments: Perspectives on Rio+20
11:00-12:15 Scaling up integrated governance of the oceans
12:15-13:30 Lunch: Celebrating 10 Years of the Global Ocean Forum, and the 30th Anniversary of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea

Our politicians have surrendered Australian sovereignty to the United Nations.
