Proof We CAN Make The World A Better Place

5 May

Hat tip to Chris Becker ( @ThePrinceMB ) for sharing the following video compilation “from the ‘notorious’ Russian dash cams”, and the words below:

“To help people out – the weak, the infirm, those who just need a little leg up – is not selfless, nor altruistic or “welfare” or evil….

Its an investment – it makes the world a better place as we all gain something by being better people – particularly our kids.

Thought for the day.” – Chris Becker

There are always those amongst us who are the salt of the earth and who are good people. Unfortunately as a race we are lazy disinterested people who let bad things happen and then begin the blame game. So where are those who are interested in politics, who will discover the issues and vote accordingly and who will vet their politicians? And more importantly where is the unbiased media which will analyse candidates and their positions? Sadly we have few people who give a damn and we have a business owned media which for the most part does the bidding of its political masters. You only have to look at the last 5 years in Federal politics to realise how one sided and biased our media is.

So enjoy the day and be happy being manipulated and done over. This it is what we all voted for.

I watch a lotta Russian dashcam vids for fun, even the road-rage ones. This is the first one that choked me up with the inner beauty of humanity that our media is trying so hard to hide from us.

This passage came to mind while viewing –

    Isaiah 25:8-10
8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; and the reproach of his people shall he remove from off all the earth: for the Lord hath spoken it.
9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.
10 For in this mountain shall the hand of the Lord rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under him, even as straw is trampled in the water of a dung pit..

Must admit, sometimes from those vids Russia looks a bit of a dung pit already.
